I agree that drama on a blog certainly keeps the traffic. I started off like that, taking sides on political views and really exposing the current Canadian government's errors and why they shouldn't be in office. Also taking sides and bashing the auto industry and other big stories in the media. It certainly drove the traffic but I decided I'd rather blog about more positive things and concentrate on good blog advertising for business to help drive traffic their way. It worked but my old blog that took a year to establish became infected somehow and crashed. I still have all the original writing since I write and save on my computer before posting but decided not to repost it except a few posts this year I chose from. The traffic is harder to get since my format changed from bashing to promoting but that's okay. I'm still receiving high traffic counts and my clicks on my web advertising as picked up considerably. I could take it the other way and become famous with the negatives of everything and be picked up in the mainstream media but I choose to make my claim to fame in positive ads and awareness blogs. Great post!

I agree that drama on a blog certainly keeps the traffic. It certainly drove the traffic but I decided I'd rather blog about more positive things and concentrate on good blog advertising for business to help drive traffic their way. It worked but my old blog that took a year to establish became infected somehow and crashed.
