You won’t be able to even buy the parts for what someone can buy a Dell, HP etc for with the same configuration. I build sell and repair puters for a living and, trust me, you won’t even get what you paid to build it unless you build high-end $2500-$4000 gaming machines. Slapping a bunch of parts together is the easy part, the real work begins after you power it up the first time. (Reply) |

Unless you have a source for the parts thats considerably less than online prices that I usually see at places like Newegg, you’ll generally lose money or barely break even. What I would do is to monitor Ebay for a couple of weeks and watch auctions that are for similar hardware and see what they close for. From the hardware you list, I’m assuming you’re looking for at least $1400 or more to break even.
